Katarina is an Associate based in the San Francisco Bay Area office. Prior to joining SR One in 2023, she worked at EpiBiologics which she co-founded based on her graduate work developing bispecific antibodies for extracellular protein degradation. Most recently at Epi, she played a role as head of discovery biology. Prior to Epi, Katarina completed her PhD with Dr. Jim Wells at UCSF and was a venture fellow at MPM Capital. She has experience in early stage drug discovery, with expertise in antibody therapeutics, targeted protein degradation, oncology, and immunology.
Katarina received her BA in Biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and her PhD in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from the University of California, San Francisco.
