 Joyce joined SR One in 2005. She serves on the Board of Directors of Locus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and is an observer on the boards of CoNCERT Pharmaceuticals, Novalar Pharmaceuticals, Rib-X Pharmaceuticals and Zelos Therapeutics. She brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, with roles in corporate development, communications, venture capital and Wall Street research at Chiron, Cowen and Company and other start-ups. At Chiron, she served as Vice President, Corporate Development, Chiron Corporation, where she led the identification and review of numerous merger and acquisition deals, as well as serving as Vice President, Corporate Communications. At Cowen, Joyce served as Director and Biotechnology Analyst and member of the well-ranked Healthcare Team. She was a co-founder and Managing Director of Venture Investment Principals, LLC, a venture capital affiliate of Caxton Associates LLC. and the founder of GreatPine Inc., a biotech consulting firm. Joyce holds a BS in Biology from Emmanuel College and an MBA from Simmons College Graduate School of Management. |
